Activate your eSIM in minutes
Install before you travel on Wi‑Fi, or after you land. Pick your phone below and follow the steps.

Check device
Confirm your phone or tablet supports eSIM.
Step 2
Open QR email
Find the QR code in your purchase email.
Step 3
Install plan
Scan the code or enter details manually.
Step 4
Go online
Turn on data roaming and connect.

QR code installation
Method 1: Camera app
- 1Open the Camera app on your device
- 2Point the camera at your eSIM QR code
- 3A notification should appear on your screen
- 4Tap the notification and follow the steps to install the eSIM
Method 2: Settings menu
- 1Open Settings on your phone
- 2Go to Cellular or Mobile Data (depending on your region)
- 3Select Add eSIM (may appear as Add Cellular Plan or Add Data Plan)
- 4Choose Use QR Code
- 5Scan your eSIM QR code and follow the prompts

- 1Open your email or webpage containing the QR code
- 2Long press the QR code and select Add eSIM
- 3Or go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code > Open Photos
Manual installation
Using activation code
- 1Open Settings on your iPhone or cellular-enabled iPad
- 2Navigate to Cellular/Mobile Data (or Mobile Service)
- 3Select Add eSIM (may appear as Add Cellular Plan)
- 4Choose Enter Details Manually
- 5Copy and paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your email

Configure your eSIM
- 1Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data
- 2Select your new eSIM from the list
- 3Set Mobile Data to your eSIM plan, not your Primary line
- 4Enable Data Roaming for your eSIM
- 5Turn off Allow Data Switching to avoid using your primary line
